One of our favorite events is going to the pumpkin patch. I love the experience, the tamales for the lunch, chocolate treats for dessert, the activities, the weather, searching for that perfect pumpkin - all of it. I especially love watching the kids enjoy every bit of it.
This got me thinking that with all the craziness that comes with have two little kids - cooking, cleaning, laundry, naps, crying....it is so important to take time and enjoy the events with them. There is nothing more enjoyable than watching your kids revel in activities and traditions. They take so much joy in simple things like riding on a wagon, running through a hay maze or tickling a pig's nose it really makes you stop and appreciate what a precious gift they are a how amazing their little minds and spirits are. So I apologize for all the pictures but of course we think they are so cute we can't resist.
We all enjoyed watching Logan try to lift every pumpkin he saw.
Logan enjoying the hay ride
Carter was totally into this scarecrow but Logan wasn't so sure. Carter is trying to show him there is nothing to be scared of.
Better times

Carly and Joey making it through the bouncy obstacle. It is a lot harder than it looks when you watch the kids doing it... Carter kicked all our butts.

Lowgs making it through.

Carter loves animals and had to check them all out.
