Visit with Nana Vesta

We kept Nanna Vesta entertained while she was here. We had a great time exploring the nature trail down by the Yakima River. We also took her to Walla Walla for the first time and explored that area for a day. We took her to a great French restaurant called Brasserie Four. The food was delicious and the best part is they seated us next to the play area so the kids were entertained while we relaxed and enjoyed our dinner.

The boys like nothing better than a little freedom to explore on their own.

Sushi!

I found these pictures from this spring and I just had to mention how much Carter loves sushi. On one of our trips to Bellevue this spring we took him to Blue C sushi where the conveyor belt goes around and you can pick your sushi plates off yourself. Carter was in heaven! He loves sushi and getting to choose the plates was a lot of fun for him. He loves the edamame and rolls, he loves to dip them in sauce and eat with chopsticks. I never thought we would have a four year old who loves sushi this much. It was almost as good as Daddy's. :)

Rainy day fun

We have had more rain than any other spring I can remember. The kids have really enjoyed it. Logan is so captivated by the rain he loves to run around and watch how it spots the cement or look out the window and point out the rain to us over and over.

What is the perfect thing to do when its raining? Build a fort and play games. It is even better when you have a brother to share it with.

Carter's last day of school

We got to spend some time in Carter's classroom on his last day of school. It was a lot of fun to see some of the activities they have been doing and then we played alphabet bingo.
During group time Logan went right up to Madison, one of Carter's favorite friends in his class. Afterwards his teacher was laughing saying Logan was just like Carter going straight for Madison.

Preschool event

This was Carter's end of the year event for Carter's preschool. It will be his last year at Bethel, he is going to another preschool next year. One more year before Kindergarten. We were so blessed to have his family come support him and afterwards we went to his favorite restaurant for dinner...Panda Express.
