Brady and I enjoyed a weekend away to celebrate our 13th Anniversary thanks to my parents who spoiled our kids while we were away. We headed to the west side for a hot air balloon ride that was a Christmas gift. We spent time in Lake Stevens, Snohomish and Kirkland.
We stayed at this B&B in Lake Stevens, it was built from a picture on a puzzle box. We met up with friends here and had a relaxing dinner and enjoyed the fire pit overlooking the lake.
I was surprised by downtown Snohomish, lots of cute stores and a fun place to hang out.
Brady had to swim in Lake Washington of course.
Super great burgers in Kirkland, eating out without kids...always fun.
Brady holding open the balloon so the fan can fill it with air.
Our pilot Shannon burning to get the balloon up.
Ready for lift off...
The Woodmark hotel in Kirkland
The Woodmark has bikes and kayaks...so we enjoyed both
