Christmas 2006

Carter had a great Christmas. He received some fun gifts like a Tails book from Aunt Danelle, a tricycle from Santa, a horse from Grandma and Grandpa Ross, and several fun clothes and puzzles from Granpma Burnett!

Christmas at Grandpa Fred's

We celebrated Christmas early with Dad (Grandpa Fred) and Dawna. They are spending Christmas in sunny Mexico. We went to Leavenworth for the town lighting and then back to Granpda Fred's for present opening and fun in the snow. Carter helped build his first snowman which we named Smitty.

Thanksgiving at Grandpa's house

We had a great Thanksgiving in Ellensburg at Carter's grandpa's house (Brady's dad). Dawna cooked a great meal and her daughters Crystal and Cara were also there from Bellevue. Carter enjoyed all of the food and most of all pumpkin pie. He met Santa but was unsure of him and did not sit his lap.

The Halloween Lion

We started Halloween night at GESA Bank to visit Great Aunt Jackie and then went to Great Grandparents Bill and Wilma's house. We ended the night trick or treating around our neghborhood. Carter had a great time this Halloween. It took him a few houses to figure out how to accept candy. The first few houses he was hesitant, the 3rd and 4th houses he was taking handfuls of candy, and by the fifth house he would run inside when the door opened.

Pumpkin Patch

Hard to beleive how much Carter has changed in one year! Here is a picture of last year at the pumkin patch and this year. Last year he slept the whole time and this year he picked out and carried his own pumpkin.

Charlotte, NC

After our trip to Nashville, we decided to visit our freinds the Kyles in Charlotte, NC. The Tuan's also traveled to NC with is to visit. It was great to see the Kyle's house and even better to have the three boys (Carter, Lucas, and Edwin) together. We spend one day at Wrightsville Beach and swam in the Atlantic Ocean.

Nashville, TN

We traveled to Nashville, TN to celebrate Grandma Vesta's birthday. We had a great time and were able to visit the Grand Ole Opry, Opryland Hotel, Ryman Auditorium, and go on the General Jackson boat. Grandma and Carter had a great time with each other as well.

Carter on the slide

Grandma & Grandpa Ross gave this slide to Carter for his birthday. Grandma G taught him how to slide and he has become an old pro in no time.

Camping with the Humphrey's

Carter went on his first camping trip to Bumping Lake near Chinook Pass. We all had a great time with our friends the Humphreys.

Carter's 1st Birthday

Carter's 1st birthday party was a lot of fun. He enjoyed his cake and gifts, but most of all the company. He was more excited about playing with the kids than anything else.
