Superheros

Carter's favorite thing is dressing up, especially as a superhero.  Aunt Carly put Logan in his Superman pajama top and they enjoyed playing together.

Blue eyes

I love Logan's gorgeous blue eyes, but I know there is a good chance that they will turn hazel like the rest of us soon so I wanted to get a few pictures that captured them.

You can also see his new top teeth.
The week in June that Brady was in China and my Mom at camp is the same week he learned to feed himself a bottle and eat an entire meal of finger foods on his own...coincidence, I think not.

Fun times

Only Carter can make Logan giggle like this - I love it when babies crack up.

Check Logan out walking by himself with his little walker.

Father's Day

Carter made his Dad a key chain that he is holding in the picture that says, "Greatest Dad Ever" - which sums up how he feels about him.  Brady loved the gift because Carter made it himself and because he was so excited to give it to him.

Carter got Dad to shake it with him during present opening.

Beach camping

We went to the beach camping with good friends.  It was a lot of fun, the kids had a blast.  It was special because it was Logan's first time at the beach - he ate a lot of sand and loved it.  The best part was watching all the kids play together and run around, the beach is a great place for kids.

Logan was funny because he crawled all over the beach, but he never sat down on the sand - he always squatted or sat on his foot....pretty smart.

We had a bucket hunt for the kids.

Watch me grow

Logan is changing every day.  Today he fed himself lunch - he ate little pieces of avacado and apricot and some Cheerios.  I could tell he was pretty happy with himself for eating his whole meal with no help.  He loves big people food and would be done with baby food if he had enough teeth.  He got his bottom two last month and his top two started coming in this week.

He crawls all around, stands up by himself and is crusing around the furniture a little.  He is starting to walk a little with help and yesterday Carter was helping him walk around the kitchen.  They were so proud of themselves both smiling and giggling.  Logan has figured out how to get into just about everything and is proving to be extremely curious like his big brother.

I forgot to post his stats when he turned nine months in June - so here they are.  Plus a little comparison of Carter at that age.  I can't believe how different they are...it is fun to compare.

Go Mariners

It was time for Logan to go to his first Mariner's game, wearing the little Mariners overalls that Carter wore to his first game.  Carter still wasn't really into watching the game, but he loved the whole experience.  We heard it was a good game from my parents, but we were too busy entertaining two little boys to see much.  Oh yeah, and they won!

Woodland Park Zoo

Carter is a total animal lover so we couldn't pass up a chance to go to the zoo.  It was the perfect size, great weather and good company.  Logan was totally engaged, but he couldn't decide what was more interesting watching the people or the animals.

Growing whales

We are headed to the beach this weekend and Carter is really excited.  Yesterday he filled Logan's baby pool with shells and all kinds of sea animals: whales, sharks, sea turtles, octopus.  And then we all played ocean.  Today he had a paper back novel and he told me he was reading about whales because he was growing whales in the bathroom, I thought whatever.  Then I heard the water running so I went to look and he has a plastic tub in the bathtub full of water with little toy whales in it.  Kids are so creative.

Visit

The week of Memorial Day Nana Vesta and Bill came to visit us.  We had a great time, mostly staying around home but we did head up to Leavenworth for a few days and we enjoyed beautiful weather and scenery.  The first pics are from Icicle Ridge Winery, it is on the way to Leavenworth in Peshastin and I would encourage anyone headed that way to stop in.

Carter made a friend at dinner which both he and the adults enjoyed - of course Logan was so curious that he had to join.
Logan stoled his brother's roll - you gotta watch that one...

Mother's Day continues

Mother's Day continues in our house.  Almost every day I get something from Carter that he wants to give me for Mother's Day.  He has given me pictures he's done, crafts from school, flowers he picked (often out of my flower pots...but oh well) and even some toys because I don't have any toys as he told me.  He always tells me I want to give you this for Mother's day because I love you or because you are so nice to me.  I put the first batch of flowers he picked for me on his hike in a little vase and he put it by my bedside table and he told me he moved it there so every time I look at it I will think "Carter gave me that".  I could get used to this....I imagine I have just until Father's Day.

Thunder thorm coming

Carter heard on the news that a thunder storm is coming and he has been talking about it all day, especially when the wind picked up.  I love the way he says thunder storm so I wanted to share it with everyone.  Three year olds are so cute. :)
