More 4th of July

Here are some more pictures from Sunriver during the 4th of July. We went to Sunriver with Shannon's aunt Cindy and cousin Kayla from Colorado. We also had Shannon's parents Dan & Ginny, sister Carly, and aunt Jackie. Carter had a great time and enjoyed his first fireworks show.

Camping with the boys

We went on a camping retreat with our church 5/19 - 5/21. We had a lot of fun over the weekend including taking the boys on a hike. Carter is giving me the look as if he isn't up to hiking in the picture on the bottom.

9 months old

Carter went to the doctor Monday, May 15th for his 9 month wellness check. He is 21 lbs. and 14 oz. (75%) and 30 1/4 inches (97%). The doctor said he is moving right along his own growth curve. Carter is crawling, climbing up on things, and cruising...walking while supporting himself. He is talking up a storm but the only recognizable words are versions of Dada and cat.

First Mother's Day

We had a great time celebrating Mother's Day at our house. It is such a joy to be a Mother...it's the best job I've ever had.

Bloomsday 10K Run

Carter completed his first Bloomsday this May! He worked hard sleeping the first five miles, relaxing for the next mile and then he was carried to the finish line. He had so much fun at the end when he could really see everything that he giggled for the last mile and a half. His friend Lucas slept the whole race, but woke up just in time to cross the finish line.

After run fun...
We took the little guys around Riverfront Park where the race ends. We went on the carousel, fed the ducks and went down the Radioflyer slide.

King of the Mountain

The three of us hiked Badger Mountain, a mountain right behind our house. We had a great time and enjoyed the views. Lots of hikers we ran into were envious of Carter getting carried all the way. :)

Run Daddy Run!!!

Dad and Carter did the Leprechaun race the weekend before St. Patrick's Day. Allan and Lucas joined them for this fun event. You can see the boys are ready to go with their race numbers...in the end they slept through the whole thing.

Cheap Entertainment

Carter's new favorite toy is the laundry basket. He likes to sit in there with his toys and his favorite thing is to hang onto the sides and get pulled around. He would sit in there for hours if we let him.

What a cutie!

This was such an adorable picture we just had to share it. Hopefully he will forgive us someday. :)

Watch me grow...

We went to the doctor today for Carter's 6 month wellness check. Carter now weighs 18 pounds 5 ounces (75%) and he is 28 1/2 inches long (97%). Seems he is right on track for following his own growth chart. We are just thankful he hasn't quite grown out of his carseat yet...but it won't be long. :)

Happy Valentine's Day!

We spent our Valentine's Day traveling back from Denver. Carter thought it was great fun he loves all the sights and lights of the airports and planes. He was dressed to celebrate with his V-day bib.
