Our Little Girl

We had our 20 week ultrasound yesterday and I never thought I would say these words but IT'S A GIRL! We took the boys to see their sister in the ultrasound and our family is very excited to welcome a new baby.

Yesterday I let the boys pick out anything they wanted for their baby sister. It was so cute to watch these two boys - that are ALL Boy - looking at all these pink outfits. Carter, my stylish guy, picked a really cute dress that says "so easy to love". Logan chose a onesie with an elephant on it that says "'lil peanut", his decision was solely based on which shirt had the best animal. They were so proud to show off their outfits to their Dad.

Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve was a great evening. We attended church and then came home to feed the reindeer and set our cookies for Santa.

Cookie party

It was fun to see all the kids together for a Christmas cookie party. As everyone goes from one to two, to three children we had to have an overflow into our garage. In a effort to have a little quiet time we read a story "The legend of the candy cane". It was a fun day and great to have all the kids together.

Carter's Christmas Pageant

Carter's school had a Christmas pageant where they performed the Christmas story (Birth of Jesus). They also had a birthday party for Jesus afterwards. It was great to see all the kids on stage and to see Carter as a shepherd.

Polar Express

We took the boys to Hood River, OR to ride the Polar Express train. It was a great evening since the boys know the book and it was really fun for them to share the experience together.

Thanksgiving

Brady's dad (Papa Fred) visited over Thanksgiving and we all had a great time. The boys hadn't seen Papa Fred since he moved to Mexico a year ago so there was a lot of catching up to do. Lots of wrestling, reading, playing, and telling stories. We also managed to put up the Christmas tree and decorate for Christmas while he was in town.

Little buddies

Logan and his little buddy Levi were leaving church and just decided to hold hands. It was so precious I had to post a few pictures.
I'm not sure where they think they're going...not sure they were either.Align Center :)

Thanksgiving program

Carter's school put on a Thanksgiving Day Feast. He had a speaking part and he was pretty excited about speaking in a microphone. We all had soup and cornbread that the kids made in class. It was surprisingly delicious and great to see the kids excitement about sharing the things they made.
Daddy was out of town but Aunt Nell and Gee Gee made up for it by joining us.

Happy Halloween

Halloween was a lot of fun. The boys had lots of friends to celebrate with and we enjoyed great weather. We trick-or-treated 'till we dropped. I wish I had a video of Logan running behind all the big boys up to each house with his little dragon wings flapping and his bucket almost dragging on the ground because it was so heavy.
The boys doing laps around the pond waiting for the neighborhood parade to start.
Look at that cute little monkey - and his doting parents.

Very patient fireman answering all the kids questions...and there were a lot

Little candy induced craziness
Brady and I got to help at Carter's school party. It was really cute and it is fun to watch Carter with his friends, enjoying himself.
