We usually get 1-2 snowfalls per year but the snow typically melts within 48 hrs. We have learned to have fun when its hear since you don't know when it will be back. The snowplow piled a large mound of snow next to our driveway. Little did the driver know just how happy he made two boys who made it into a fort by tunneling through it. This was also Natalie's first time in the snow. She seemed to like sledding and having the flakes land on her cheeks.

Christmas 2012
This Christmas was special for us because it was Natalie's first and we didn't know it at the time but our last Christmas with Gee Gee. We were blessed to have a wonderful season with a lot of fun events planned. We enjoyed all our family traditions and Gee Gee attended them all: ugly sweater contest with Christmas light tour, party at my parents, Christmas eve dessert and games at Jackie's and church, Christmas morning at Gee Gee's house and dinner here. The boys enjoyed Christmas as always all the anticipation and time with family and Natalie loved the wrapping paper and all the attention!

The boys doing their favorite thing...playing legos
which was a lot of fun.

Carly made Grandma a birdseed wreath for Christmas...it was a big hit with the squirrels.
Kayla filled Veronica's gift with bows and rocks to make her dig for her gift.
Dad trying to help put together more legos.

Natalie's audience...everyone waiting for her to roll.
Every morning after Christmas Logan woke us up and he was wearing his Buzz Lightyear backpack and playing his guitar.

2011 Cookie Party
We enjoyed decorating cookies again this year. Its getting a little crowded as each family grows, but it is so much fun to see all these cuties together.
I think Katriel set a record for number of sprinkles on a cookie.

Our first basketball season
Carter played basketball for the first time this winter. He had the perfect team in his mind, his Dad and Papa were the coaches and one of his best friends played on his team. A 6 year old couldn't ask for more.

Brady was in Japan the week we had pictures...in case you were wondering. I was substitute coach while Papa was hunting and when Brady was out of town, I had a lot of fun filling in.
