Logan's pre-school open house

Logan's pre-school open house was a few weeks ago.  We got to see the tree and apple that he created. We also go to see his Fall artwork and spend time with his teachers.

College friends

We have some good college friends that we haven't seen in several years.  We connected at the WSU football game to catch up on old college stories and each others families.  The top picture are the friends and the bottom with our families.

WSU vs Cal

The game was great....until kickoff.  Lets just call it a rebuilding year for the COUGS.  Good thing we are loyal COUG fans that rain or shine, we will tailgate at at least one game per year.  Shannon, Logan, and Carly went to midnight Madness on Friday night to watch the COUG basketball game and a slam dunk contest.

Master's Club

The boys attend Master's Club on Wednesday's.  Carter's group is called the Explorers and Logan's Little Lambs.  They really enjoy learning about Jesus, playing games, and hanging out with friends.

White Bluff Fall festival

White Bluffs Elementary had their Fall festival to raise money for the PTO.  Their was a Western theme this year and it was a lot of fun.

Pumpkin patch

Country Mercantile has been a great place for our kids to get our pumpkins over the past 6 years.  Shannon and I started making this annual trip when we were dating and its continued for the past 6 years with our kids.  All three kids made their first trip when they were only 3 months old.  Another fun trip fun of pumpkins, tractor rides, hay maze, animals, and cider with cookies.  Thank you "Merc".

Prosser Hot Air Balloons

Prosser always has their hot air balloon festival in the Fall.  The lay of the land in Prosser makes it an ideal location to view the balloons as they take off and land.  Its always worth the early morning when you get to see the wonderful balloons across the sky.

Ohio & Kentucky Trip

When Carter was 4, I took him on a special trip to see my family and friends in Kentucky.  It was so much fun, I told myself that when Logan was 4, we would do the same.  We packed up and I as always was a bit over ambitious as to what we could fit into the trip.  My wish list was to see my mom and her side of the family, see my grandma and spend a night at her house, see my Dickhaus aunts, uncles, cousins, and...time permitting, see my two great high school friends and family since its our 20 year since graduation.  In the end, I had an unforgettable time with my "Logan Boy" and a memory building experience for us both.   It was very special to have Logan with me and spend a night at my Grandma's playing in the basement I grew up playing in, with a lot of the same toys.  There is also something very special about seeing my two great high school friends, Bryan and Brian with their wives and children, and them playing with Logan.  Life is good, isn't it...
